“So [my son] had a dentist appointment this morning, and I can’t tell you how amazing that book you guys got him was! We read it several times leading up to the appointment and then today, he said was feeling nervous, but we looked around the dentist office and compared it to all the things he’d seen in the book (the waiting room, dentist chair, the light, the goody bag) he calmed down and let the dentist clean his teeth! It was amazing. Especially compared to 6 months ago at his last appointment when he screamed the whole time and I had to hold him down. I seriously can’t thank you enough!!!
“It was just so great that the book was so realistic. There are lots of books about doctors and dentists, etc. but they aren’t realistic to what an appointment is really like for a kids. These books are so great for that! I hope they have some more books on the docket for the future. They should write some for all kinds of transitions…potty training, getting rid of a pacifier, moving to a big kid bed, starting school, etc. They do such a great job!!”
